The Student Guarantor application process

Begin by completing our application form. Next, provide your payment information and verify your identity. Your cosigner will have to complete the same process. Our team reviews your submission promptly, and upon approval, we will work with your landlord or housing provider to complete the necessary paperwork.

1. Complete an applicaton

Create an account and complete out simple application form

  • Create an account and provide your personal details
  • Nominate a co-signer and provide their details
  • Provide details of the student rental property (don't worry if you don't have a property yet - you can add it later)
  • Make payment for the guarantor service using a credit or debit card
  • Verify your identity with a photo ID
  • Takes approximately 5-10 minutes to complete

Documents required for this step:

  • Credit or debit card, issued in the UK or internationally
  • Government issued photographic identification - Passport, driving license or resident permit

2. Cosigner verification

Co-signer must create an account and complete the quick co-signer application

  • Co-signer receives a link at the email you provided in step 1
  • Creates a co-signer account and provides their personal details
  • Provides a credit card as a payment method (only charged in the event of rental arrears)
  • Completes verification to confirm their identity
  • Takes 5 minutes to complete

Documents required for this step:

  • Credit card, issued in the UK or internationally
  • Government issued photographic identification - Passport, driving license or resident permit

3. Get approved

After approval, we will verify your information with your landlord or housing provider – you do not have to do anything

  • Applications typically processed within seconds once all information is provided
  • The Student Guarantor will work with your landlord or housing provider to sign the guarantor paperwork - we will contact you if any further information is needed
